Our associate, a forward-thinking Fintech enterprise leading the charge in revolutionizing payment practices is actively seeking a Project Manager – Payments Licensing & Acquiring. As a Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end project management of strategic regulatory licensing initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting the acquiring strategy, working cross-functionally with legal, compliance, product, and external partners to secure required approvals, licenses, and build acquiring capabilities.
• Lead and coordinate the end-to-end licensing application process in various jurisdictions, including project planning, stakeholder coordination, and documentation.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, legal advisors, and consultants throughout the licensing lifecycle.
• Support acquiring partner onboarding, managing technical and operational aspects of go-live projects.
• Track and manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure alignment between licensing objectives and internal compliance, legal, and operational frameworks.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to communicate progress to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (legal, finance, risk, compliance, operations) to ensure readiness for audits and regulatory reviews.
• 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the payments or fintech industry.
• Proven experience in regulatory licensing processes within payments (e.g., EMI/PI licenses, VASP, etc.).
• Solid understanding of acquiring, card schemes, payment gateways, and PSP ecosystems.
• Experience working with legal/compliance teams and external regulatory consultants.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional projects.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Self-starter with a hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail.
